US Warplanes Hammer Houthi Targets in Major Nighttime Blitz

U.S. combat aircraft conducted a series of precision strikes Saturday night, hitting more than 30 Houthi military targets across Yemen's capital Sanaa and the strategic port city of Hodeidah.

The coordinated air campaign targeted terrorist militia positions in and around the Houthi-held capital, along with critical infrastructure in western Yemen's Hodeidah Governorate.

According to confirmed military sources, approximately 21 strikes focused on Houthi positions in and around Sanaa, including critical hits near the international airport and the destruction of arms stockpiles at Al-Hafa Camp. Additional raids struck a militia hideout in Al-Safiya District and secondary targets across Bani Hashish, Hamdan, and Bani Matar.

In Hodeidah, U.S. warplanes hit over 13 objectives, striking port facilities, the airport, and military installations in Al-Saleef District.

The operation follows recent Pentagon warnings about escalating Houthi threats to maritime security, with the group having intensified attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

This latest bombardment expands upon the large-scale U.S. air offensive launched on March 15, which previously targeted Houthi leadership, missile stockpiles, communications networks, and military workshops across Yemen, including underground facilities in Saada and coastal defenses on Kamaran Island.
