Committee to monitor Hezbollah-Israel ceasefire meets again in southern Lebanon

The US, France, UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Lebanese Armed Forces, and the Israeli army met on Wednesday in southern Lebanon to discuss the ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and Israel.
The meeting, which took place in Naqoura, will happen “regularly and [the parties will] coordinate closely to support implementation of the ceasefire agreement and UNSCR 1701,” read a joint statement from UNIFIL and the Embassies of the US, France in Lebanon.
