by : Yemen Details

Thirteen fighters from the Iran-backed Houthis were killed and others were injured in the fierce clashes in Aleppo between the Syrian forces and armed opposition factions. Intelligence sources told Khabar Agency.

Dozens of Houthi members who received training in Iran and Iraq entered Syria in recent weeks to participate in the fighting alongside Hezbollah militias against armed opposition factions. The sources said.

Among the dead was a prominent Houthi leader who received advanced training in communications and drone aviation.

These events come within the framework of escalating military operations in Aleppo, where Iranian-backed forces and Hezbollah seek to strengthen their control over strategic areas.

Iranian intervention through supporting various militias such as the Houthis and Hezbollah has raised increasing international concerns, complicating efforts to reach a peaceful solution to the ongoing Syrian crisis.
